Supposedly we have to mitigate for OKT every Tuesday but both of us were sent to PJ court to settle with police about one remand case. I learnt new word.. OYDS = Orang Yang DiSyaki. This OYDS is a juvenile who was arrested by the police as a suspect in robbery case in 7-eleven. As usual, they (OYDS+his family) said the police has wrongfully detained OYDS.
Macam yang pernah aku cite, we lawyers act based on the informations obtained. So, aku pun tak nak percaya bulat-bulat what they told me. I asked the police in charge (PIC) for what reason he was detained. Hmm, less cooperation because she said the real PIC is not present and she know nothing about it.
In remand hearing, magistrate has given us 2 days remand order instead of 15-day-option of which she could decide. Magistret kata polis kena bagi bukti esok, if not, he'll be released.
Aku bukan nak cite kisah ni panjang-panjang. Just to share with you all about a comment on our success (this is a new record for legal aid center in having the shortest period of remand for client). Ada sorang kawan tanya camni.
It sounds too racist. Am I trained to be that kind of people? Help only Malays..or Muslims? What would be your answer? Sometimes we don't realize that we tend to be unfair to others. Not to blame ourselves alone. Might be we are affected by the way how media try to sell their news. Maksud aku, orang yang belum bersalah nampak bersalah.
Yup, sebelum ni aku pun camtu. Bila nampak orang digari, I'll say that he's wrong, he's 'orang jahat' etc. but when I'm in their 'world', I know what is happening.
[An-Nisa' (4) : 36 ]
U know what? the word 'jiran yang dekat dan jauh' is explained in the Translation as either muslims or non-muslims. So, should I be proud of being a Muslims and only help muslims? Allah didn't say 'your muslim neighbours' at all.. When we help others, they'll trust us and give us a respect .. respect on us means respect on muslim. Respect on muslim means respect on Islam. Wow!

"Indian"
